Drooling

okay... so I know that this is a little weird but lately I have been going crazy lately dealing with Jazlynn's drool. So I thought I would show everyone what I am dealing with. Keep in mind that she had been wearing this for less than an hour. If anyone has any suggestions let me know.

It had been less than an hour and she was completely soaking wet.

In this picture you can actually see the drool dripping from off her chin. Lovely, isn't it?

Innerspace Caverns

On Saturday we went to the Innerspace Caverns in Georgetown. Since it is right by Jared's work I have been wanting to go there for awhile. So we invited Jared's parents and his Grandma and went and had alot of fun.

We couldn't get Janae in the picture and Jazlynn was trying to escape but we were waiting for the tour guide.

Janae liked the caverns until about half way and then she kept saying, "can we get out of here now?" Sometimes you can't please everyone.

Watch out Daddy you might hit Jazlynn's head on the ceiling. Jazlynn had a good time running arounf and then got tired and fell asleep in my arms.

Jaydon had so much fun he was in the front of the group right by the tour guide the whole time and told us that it was the coolest thing he's ever seen.

All in all it was a great day and it was nice to get out. I have lots of places that I want to go to this summer so hopefully this is the beginning of our adventures this year.

a little info on the kiddos

Jaydon

Jaydon is almost 7 years old. He is really starting to get a hang of reading and is becoming more responsible and mature everyday. He is such a big help that sometimes I wish he didn't have to go to school. We cannot do a project without him being involved and although sometimes that bugs us, He already knows how to use a jigsaw, screw driver, hammer and nails, is learning how sprinkler systems work, etc. etc. He is very athletic and has decided to try out for the swim team this summer! Some of his favorite activities are riding his bike, scooter and waveboard, he also likes soccer and loves to swim. He is looking forward to our cruise because he also likes to snorkel. Jaydon is a very sweet kid that is always trying to please everyone. I love that he likes to follow the rules (and so does his teacher).
Janae
Janae, Janae, Janae... so much so little time. Janae is a total girlie girl and that may be an understatement. I do not know where her personality came from but she loves all thing frilly and purple or pink. She will only wear skirts or dresses and actually refuses to wear pants. We spend much of our time arguing over what she will wear in the morning and tells me that "real girls wear skirts". Sometimes the headaches she causes are astronomical, I am sure that the fact that she is bossy (like her mother) contributes to the fact that she pushes my buttons. The fact that she is so smart makes it hard to reason with her sometimes but she really blows me away with how much she knows. Janae can tell you every person she comes into contact with's name and association she knows who everyone is married to and where they live. Even if they live far away. Janae is a very sweet girl and is going to be a great mother someday, she loves to baby Jazlynn and keeps asking when I am going to have another baby. She'll have to wait for awhile for that, for now she will have to play with her dolls.

Jazlynn

Jazlynn or we call her monkey is becoming quite a challenge. She loves to climb on everything. I can usually find her on the top bunk or on the table climbing on the bookcases, the fun really never ends. She has really started to talk and can say all of our names. Not to mention mine and no (yeah loads of fun right?) She has a lot of Jared's personality in her and she loves to tease (especially her bother and sister). Jazlynn loves baby dolls and is usually carrying one around (but I am pryaing that she isn't such a girlie girl) And you would never know it(she weighs a mere 21 lbs) but she is a garbage disposal, she eats everything and anything and is always asking for snacks (wanna snack). We have taken her pacifier (paci as she calls it) away except for at bedtime so now when she wants it she says "ni nite paci" and then tries to get me to give it to her. She is also getting too smart and sometimes she tries to hide them so I will not know where they are and then get them when she wants them. She is really funny and has really brought lightheartedness to our family (she makes us laugh all the time).

Anyway I hope this updates you a little bit without being too braggy, But having these kids has really enriched not only our lives but also our families lives and sometimes you just need to share.

Houston for the Weekend

Last weekend we went to Houston to visit Jared's sisters family for our nephew's blessing and we had sooo much fun! They just moved there from California so we are so glad that they are close enough to drive to to visit. The have a beautiful house and we had so much fun. The kids really had a great time and even though there was 7 kids 6 and under they got along so well it was awesome. This picture of Jazlynn was before church and she looks so old it really makes me wanna cry.
My niece Gracie is getting so big and sooo pretty. She was a gigglefest all weekend but she is really a cute girl.

This is our nephew Kyler. He is the cutest and best baby ever. He never even cries. He was blessed on sunday and it was an honor to get to be there. But seroiusly how cute is he????????

Jazlynn loved the baby. She was even pretty gentle. Her hair is a disaster because she had just woke up. But still a cutie.

One of the highlights was playing rockband in the media room that has a projector the size of a small movie theater. Here is Jared singing.

Rosck band is seriously sooo much fun. I decided that I love to play the drums! Here is Jared with our bro-in-law Ben. The kids are pretending to play with them.

Crazy huh???? Although so much fun. (Not to mention that in Jared's family we also have Haley 3 and Derek 1) Is that a lot of kids under 7 or what?????????????

My Birthday!!!!

Last Saturday was my 29th birthday and it was a fun day. Jared bought my a beautiful mirror to hang in our room. I had been looking for one for a long time and hadn't found the right one yet. He found this one all on his own and I love it!!! We had dinner with friends and it really was a great day.

Our trip to California

This was the highlight of Jaydon's trip. He wanted to ride it constantly and hated when I made him leave the farm to go visit someone. At first he was a little scared and went pretty slow and by the end he was tearing it up and even standing up while riding it. He is definitely a daredevil.
Jaydon decided that he wanted to wear my brother wrestling singlet. Mind you that my brother is 6ft4 and 215 lbs. So Jaydon looks like a clown in it. I thought it was funny.

The kids on the 4 wheeler my parents bought jaydon. They absolutely loved it! Even the girls wanted to ride it but Jaydon was obsessed with it. It was all he wanted to do.

My brother is the unltimate play toy for my children they use him as a horse. This was the first time that he had all 3 riding on him, but at 215 lbs i think he can handle it.

Jaydon lost a tooth while we were there. My mom actually pulled it out with dental floss, he was so proud.

This is Jaydon washing down the milk barn with a big hose. This has to be done twice a day after milkings and was one of my chores before and after school for many many years. Yes.... he is washing off the cow poop with a hose. Interesting, I know but he thinks it is fun.

California

We are officially in California and will be here until February 11. I will have to keep everyone waiting on my next post until we return. The flight was pretty uneventful, which is a good thing, especially when you are traveling with 3 kiddos! There will be lots to share after our return.
